About Us Since August 2000, Inverness Christian Academy has been educating students in Citrus County and surrounding area in a loving, Christian environment. As a ministry of Fort Cooper Baptist Church, ICA seeks to teach its students that Jesus Christ died for them, and that they need to give their hearts fully to Him. The goal of the administration and faculty is that students not only accept Christ, but give their llives totally and completely to Him. The spiritual emphasis is by far the most important factor in a Christian education. Academically, ICA is setting the standard in Christian education in Citrus county. ICA achieved provisional accreditation status in 2008, and in October 2011, ICA achieved full accreditation status by the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS). On standardized tests (Stanford 10), our school average is in the 73rd percentile (national avg. is 50). By grade level, ICA on average is 18 months ahead of the national average. As a Christian school, we want to bring all the glory to the name of Christ, and our desire is EXCELLENCE in all we do and teach for God's glory. |
